heat actuating unit.They are designed for use as a system control valve for isolated deluge fire protection systems of limited size, wherein the valve is located within the area to be protected. The TCV-1 is typically used as an auxiliary deluge valve to control the flow of water to specific areas within a larger wet pipe, dry pipe, or deluge system.

Red-E Cabinet Integrated Deluge Fire Protection Package

The Model DV-5 Red-E Cabinet is a pre-assembled fire protection valve package enclosed within a free-standing cabinet designed to occupy minimal floor space and to provide an aesthetically pleasing enclosure for a fire protection valve riser. The entire package is pre-wired and the water inlet and outlets to the valve riser are grooved to provide minimal installation time. The valve package includes the system (manual) shut-off control valve, automatic water control valve,
and waterflow/supervisory switches. When dry pilot actuation is utilized, a built-in air compressor with associated controls provides an automatic air supply for the dry pilot lines.

DP-1

The Model DP-1 Dry Pilot Actuator is an auxiliary releasing device designed for use with Tyco Fire Products Deluge and Preaction Valves having dry pilot release systems. Also the Model DP-1 is used for Tyco Fire Products Preaction Valves having double interlock electric/pneumatic release. The Model DP-1 actuates these automatic water control valves upon release of air (nitrogen) pressure. In the case of dry pilot actuation, air pressure is released due to opening of a pilot sprinkler, or in the case of double interlock preaction systems air pressure is released from the system piping due to the opening of an automatic sprinkler. When the Model DP-1 actuates, it permits water pressure to be released from the deluge or preaction valve differential chamber, thereby allowing the deluge or preaction valve to open.

The Model MC-1 Manual Control Station provides a tamper resistantmeans for emergency release (i.e. operation) of Tyco Fire Products Deluge and Preaction Valves. Interconnection with the valves may be direct via hydraulic (wet) pilot line or indirect via pneumatic (dry) pilot line to a Model DP-1 Dry Pilot Actuator.

The Model ASV-1 Automatic Shut-Off Valve (Ref. Figure 1) is intended for use with the Model DV-5 Deluge Valve in deluge and preaction systems. Provided as part of the DV-5 Valve trim arrangements, it is installed in the diaphragm chamber supply connections. When properly installed, it is intended to prevent inadvertent resetting of the DV-5 Valve after the DV-5 Valve initial operation.

The Model FSV-1 Fail-Safe Valve (Ref. Figure 1) is intended for use with theModel DV-5 Deluge Valve in certain types of trim arrangements for deluge and preaction systems. Provided as part of specific DV-5 Valve trim arrangements, it is installed adjacent to the releasing devices (dry pilot actuator, solenoid valve, etc.). When properly installed, it is intended to prevent inadvertent resetting of the DV-5 Valve after initial operation of the DV-5 Valve.
